We started our Meet-Up with a breathing and meditation exercise led by Angela Burrow. It was just what we needed to relax, clear our minds and enjoy the rest of the afternoon activities.

Meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit both your emotional well-being and your overall health. You can also use it to relax and cope with stress by refocusing your attention on something calming. Meditation can help you learn to stay centered and keep inner peace.

Our guest speaker for the day was Ashley Stevens from Project CARE (Caregiver Alternatives to Running on Empty).  What a phenomenal job she did.  Everyone was engaged, asking and answering questions.
